**Description**
**PRIMARY PURPOSE**
*Leads Biologic Implant Representatives (BIRs) and Distributors to increase sales and distribution of CTS products. Accountable for developing and managing regional business relationships through alliance partners, distributorships and direct accounts.*
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
- Plans and implements strategies to ensure the revenue budget is met and the regions strategic service goals are met. Conducts price negotiations and strategic account development.
- Manages BIRs and Distributors: hires, develops and ensures focused attention on regional activities.
- Ensures employees within region complete all required training..
- Develops and coaches BIRs. Conducts bi-weekly field travel and performs quarterly business reviews.
- Develops Alliance Partner and 1099 relationships. Ensures relationships are developed and conducts business reviews with each partner and distributor.
- Implement business plan and provide reporting to Area Sales Director on a quarterly basis
- Ensure hospital consignment programs are managed to CTS SOPs
- Performs other duties as assigned.
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
**EDUCATION and/or** **EXPERIENCE**
* Bachelors Degree required.
* 3 years sales experience (medical device industry, hospital sales and/or physician sales).
* Certified Tissue Banking Specialist (CTBS) preferred or obtained within 2 years of employment
* Operating room, orthopedic or neuro-surgical product experience.
* 1 year of leadership experience (sales management with direct reports).
**WORK ENVIRONMENT and PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES**
* Must be able to work in a hospital or healthcare environment where blood, other body fluids, and surgical incisions could be commonly visible.
* Overnight travel will be necessary.
* Must possess a valid drivers license and be insurable by CBC/CTS insurance provider.
* Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.
**DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Effective oral, written and presentation communication skills.
* Ability to analyze and strategize in order to meet goals.
* Ability to lead and motivate a team remotely.
