The Royal Caribbean Group's Human Resources team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Director, Strategy & Transformation reporting to the AVP, People & Outreach Transformation.
This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida.

The role:
The People & Outreach (P&O) Team is looking for a Director within our Strategy & Transformation Team to lead several key initiatives and provide oversight and governance for several programs of work. The role will report to the AVP, Strategy & Transformation. This role is responsible for all aspects of program and project management across the P&O portfolio. Key stakeholders include the Human Resources Leadership Team comprised of HR Business Partner and HR Center Of Excellence leads as well as the Outreach Leadership Team including the heads of Corporate Affairs, Corporate Communications, ESG, and Corporate Real Estate. Partnership outside P&O with various business stakeholders is also expected depending on the scope of the initiative.
The Director, Strategy & Transformation will develop a cross-functional approach to project intake and prioritization in support of P&O's five-year strategic and annual operating plans. The successful candidate will work with designated functional subject matter experts to establish the appropriate program and project tracking frequency for publication to the EVP, People & Outreach, and respective leadership teams. In addition, the Director will be responsible for maintaining and delivering a portfolio of critical, cross-functional projects to support the strategic needs of the organization. The responsibilities may include activities such as initiative scoping, stakeholder identification, business case development, integrated project planning, project execution, risk identification, and change management. The successful candidate may also be asked to support other initiatives in one or more of these activities for projects led by other leaders across the P&O organization.
Your experience:
This role requires a curious, detail-oriented mindset including:
Ability to navigate the organization and develop effective relationships with various stakeholder groups with minimal day-to-day managerial oversight
Exceptional program management skills accompanied by agile project management expertise; technology project management experience is a plus
Demonstrated understanding of when to ask the right questions and when to go deeper on certain topics to clarify dependencies and remove barriers to progress
Ability to thoroughly analyze and interpret different types of data and synthesize into easy-to-understand scenarios and presentations with clearly defined trade-offs
Experience standing up and delivering portfolio status reporting and/or business cases development is a plus
Strong analytical skills that help determine root cause and inform strategic direction for the program or project
Tireless focus to keep moving things along while navigating competing priorities and ensuring alignment across teams
Expert PowerPoint and Excel skills are essential; experience with SharePoint and/or Tableau is a plus
10+ years of revelant experience
