About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its organization, which is dedicated to food system transformation with a focus on sustainable and healthy food. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizational leadership, strategic visioning, fundraising, and ensuring the growth and impact of the organization. This role requires a leader who can work in a collaborative, inclusive, and empathetic manner, and who is committed to the values of the organization. The Executive Director will be expected to co-create and oversee the organizational strategy, support staff in its execution, and foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and transparency. Fundraising is a key aspect of the position, and the candidate should have a strong track record in this area, particularly in the environmental or food movement spaces.Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a deep passion for food system transformation and a strong understanding of the science behind the necessary changes. The role demands a leader with proven experience in leading and scaling up organizations, as well as a history of successful fundraising and managing relationships with donors.
