**Summary:** The General Manager will be an engaging leader with integrity and passion to empower our hotel team. This person will be an organized, strategic visionary prepared with knowledge of all hotel departments and will be ready to impact our positive culture. The General Manager will train and empower the team to phenomenal results! **Essential Duties** **:** Essential job duties for this position include the following items. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required. **Supervisory Responsibilities:** The General Manager has supervisory responsibility for every hotel employee, the number of direct reports varies by location.
* Provide the highest guest service to the guest at all times and anticipate and exceed guest expectations.
* Create a welcoming environment where guests and team members feel valued and appreciated.
* Manage projects to include building upkeep and preventative maintenance.
* Manage P&L reports, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
* Analyze the business results and find strategic steps to resolve any opportunity areas.
* Be the strategic leader for all aspects of the hotel.
* Lead by example; by collaborating with confidence, humility, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
* Create a culture of care for others and self-accountability.
* Develop a culture which promotes teamwork and collaborative contributions.
* Work toward continuous quality improvement
* Stay current with changing technology, including relevant computer software.
