About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to take on full legal authority and responsibility for the management of its hospice services, including fiscal operations, and continuous quality assessment and performance improvement. The successful candidate will be tasked with operational planning and budgeting, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements, and monitoring business operations for financial stability. Additionally, the role involves evaluating hospice services and personnel, providing conflict and complaint management, and maintaining effective communication channels. The Executive Director will also be responsible for staff development, ensuring interdisciplinary care, and staying current on local and national hospice issues and trends.Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in business administration or health care, or equivalent work experience, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in health care management. A strong background in corporate business management, an intimate knowledge of Medicare Hospice Certification, and an understanding of hospice care and interdisciplinary group services are essential. The role requires the ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel, deal tactfully with the community, and ensure that the organization's structure and systems promote ethical business and clinical practices. The Executive Director must also be willing to travel, be flexible in work hours, and possess a valid driver's license.
