Position Summary:
We are currently recruiting a dedicated Customer Service Manager. This role will be perfect for a customer service manager experienced within the food distribution industry! We are looking for the right candidate who has had 3-5 years of experience working as a customer service lead or in a management position. The primary purpose of the Customer Service Manager is to supervise and mentor the customer service team by teaching them best practices, providing performance reviews, offering feedback, and establishing measurable goals.
This position will work closely with the COO to ensure the Customer Service Department is running efficiently and providing our customers with timely and respectful service.
Responsibilities:
Manage daily workflow within the customer service department
Maintain an awareness of all product information, merchandise promotions, and any issues brought to the attention of the customer service team
Maintain the highest level of standards in customer service
Initiate suggestive selling of products
Supervise a team of customer service representatives including scheduling/timecard approval
Assist in the interviewing/onboarding of new customer service employees
Communicate with coworkers and management to solve problems and improve quality and service
Receive and implement customer feedback to improve quality of service
Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Food/Hospitality industry experience *required*
2-5 years of experience in customer service leadership or 5+ years experience in food distribution sales
Ability to communicate with customers, ownership, and employees
Proficiency in Customer Service
Ability to multi-task and perform within a fast-paced environment
Ability to work varied hours/days as dictated by business
