We’re tackling a key challenge for all Internet businesses today: navigating the changing landscape of sales tax. In the last few years, SaaS businesses have gone from not having to worry about sales tax to needing to monitor their exposure, calculate local sales tax rates, and file returns in over 20 US states and many countries beyond the US.

Anrok connects with a customer’s billing and payment systems and automates sales tax compliance. We have raised over $24M at a valuation north of $100M from Sequoia Capital and Index Ventures who co-led both our seed and A rounds. We have a hybrid remote model with half the team in San Francisco, and the other half distributed across the US in cities like Seattle, Denver, Houston, New York, and beyond.

Anrok is growing quickly and we’re looking for our first Enterprise sales hire to join us as we continue to help up-market SaaS businesses solve sales tax compliance. Our founding Enterprise Account Executive will have a flexible mindset, enjoy tackling zero to one projects, get creative in ambiguous circumstances, and be excited about building a scalable enterprise sales playbook. Above all, this next team member needs to be a thoughtful and considerate salesperson, capable of driving confident conversations with executives across large SaaS enterprises.

Anrok has a hardworking, collaborative team you’ll be working with along the way. You’ll be consistently partnering with Anrok’s senior leadership, and our marketing, tax, and technical support teams.

In this role, you will:

Develop a scalable outbound sales strategy to create and identify opportunities with up-market SaaS businesses

Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to implementation handoff

Develop and run new customer acquisition experiments and report on results

Regularly identify and communicate opportunities to improve our product experience for our most strategic customers

Report directly to our Head of Sales

What excites us:

5+ years of experience in a quota carrying SaaS sales role, at least 2 years of experience with Enterprise SaaS sales specifically

Experience going outbound & building your own pipeline

Demonstrated experience selling into senior finance leadership teams and closing 6+ figure contracts

Self-starters who are organized and resourceful

Strong project management skills

Proven ability to distill customer needs, conduct a thoughtful discovery experience, and adapt quickly to the audience

Team players with strong ambition & intuition
