About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Investments to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and executing new acquisition transactions, particularly focusing on grocery-anchored shopping centers in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. This role requires a highly analytical individual with at least 5 years of experience in a relevant acquisition or institutional investment sales transaction role, specifically within the retail real estate sector. The Vice President will lead the due diligence process across all aspects of investment transactions and assist in the overall disposition strategy. Strong financial modeling skills, advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Argus Enterprise, and the ability to work well in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment are essential.Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Investments include collaborating with the Chief Investment Officer to review and negotiate transactions, overseeing the underwriting process, and maintaining relationships with the national brokerage community. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and be self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn. They should be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently to meet deadlines. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and networking skills are also necessary to interact effectively with senior management, joint venture partners, and other stakeholders.
