About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Investments for the West Coast, with a focus on driving new business development and leading the investment team in the industrial real estate sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities, managing the full transaction process from inception to completion, and leading the underwriting and due diligence activities. This role also involves training and supervising a team of associates and analysts, as well as working closely with the Head of US Investments, Fund Managers, and the wider business development team. The VP of Investments will be expected to have a strong background in the real estate industry, with a preference for industrial experience, and be proficient in financial analysis tools such as Argus, Salesforce, and Yardi.Applicants for the VP of Investments position at the company should possess a deep understanding of the real estate industry, particularly in the industrial sector. Experience in driving new business development and a proven track record of sourcing and managing successful investment opportunities is essential. The role requires excellent quantitative and analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to lead a team with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. A keen attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and experience in real estate financial modeling are also key qualifications for this position. The VP of Investments will be expected to have a hands-on approach to deal management and be able to effectively communicate and present investment opportunities to various stakeholders.
