About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead the development and implementation of operational strategy and activities within its network office and school operations teams. The COO will be directly responsible for managing the heads of HR, Data and IT, School Nutrition, and Network Operations functions, ensuring the effective and compliant design and implementation of operational systems. This includes human resources, school nutrition, communications, IT management, property management, school safety, and student enrollment. The successful candidate will be tasked with creating and implementing a multi-year plan for process improvements, leading changes to achieve stronger coordination and collaboration, and overseeing the day-to-day operations to maintain a high standard of quality and efficiency.Applicants for the COO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field or a Master's in educational or nonprofit leadership, with a minimum of 5 years' of professional work experience in business or nonprofit management. The role requires demonstrated success in team management, exceptional communication skills, and proficiency in computer technology. The COO will work closely with the Executive Team to ensure a close alignment between school and network operations, drive organization-wide operational initiatives, and break down silos to foster a seamless experience for the school network. A strong work ethic, positive attitude, flexibility, and a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of information are essential. Professional development and a desire to contribute to the company's mission of providing safe, Christian education with a focus on academic success, leadership development, and spiritual growth are also key qualifications.
