Director of Sales Enablement
Portland, OR, United States
Edo is an independent company with strategic investment from McKinstry and Avista.
Decarbonizing our electricity system is foundational to reducing our collective greenhouse gas emissions. At Edo, we work every day to create an energy system that is reliable, equitable, and carbon-free.
The fundamental infrastructure and regulatory compact of our electrical grid were designed for a different time and is hindering our ability to achieve our environmental and economic goals. We cannot solve this problem at the individual building scale - it’s not economically or technologically feasible. Edo will empower utilities and built environment leaders through a partnership model that unlocks rapid innovation towards the grid of the future. We must reimagine a physical and virtual grid that connects nodes of prosumers. We will develop the technology and knowledge platform necessary to achieve impact through scale.

Oversee the entire proposal development process, ensuring all components are completed accurately and on time. Coordinate efforts across teams, manage timelines and resources, draft proposals, and ensure the final solution aligns with the strategic goals and requirements of the client.
Conduct in-depth research and analysis on industry news, technology trends, market opportunities, legislative activity, and competitors, including pricing, market share, and product features to support the commercial growth plan.
Perform comprehensive client research, including funding mechanisms, budget allocations, planning cycles, organizational structure, and feedback collection through voice of client exercises, proposal debriefs, customer satisfaction surveys, and testimonials.
Manage the development, review, and distribution of productized and customized solutions and sales enablement content in collaboration with the product, sales, marketing, and proposal development teams.
Translate technical product details into market-facing materials and customize content for target clients or industry audiences.
Equip teams with the necessary products, solutions, knowledge, and content to execute on sales goals, creating a usable and accessible repository of organized materials.
Align Edo’s product and solution roadmap to meet the company's commercial growth plan and goals.
