Location: New England

The company is a global leading manufacturer of laboratory equipment and benchtop instruments. Their products are used in Genomics, NGS Sample Prep, Cell Biology, Proteomics, Drug Discovery, Analytical Chemistry, Molecular Diagnostics, Biobanking, and other applications.

They now have an opportunity to join the team as the Sales Specialist for New England.

The Position

Development of a business plan and sales strategy for the assigned territory that ensures attainment of company sales targets.

Establish a working relationship with existing customers to expand account penetration.

Coordinate customer visits, demo follow-ups or lunch and learns as necessary to facilitate efficient sales trips.

Prospect for new leads by attending tradeshow, social networking, and cold calling.

Working in an environment where you will be supported, valued, and rewarded for your performance.

The position is home office based, with customer visits in the New England territory.

Work closely with the sales, applications, service engineering and marketing teams.

The Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in a Scientific field: Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Life Sciences; or related field.

Experience selling benchtop equipment or laboratory automation instruments.

Laboratory experience and knowledge of laboratory processes (PCR, Serial Dilution, Normalization, DNA Extraction, NGS, etc.).
