Sales Director-Key Accounts

Job Description:
The Sales Director – Key Accounts will be responsible for strategically managing a segment of the
Corporate Fleet Business Unit. Objectives include growing the fleet with new clients (serviced and
managed) and increasing service penetration (Core products and non-Core). This role is also responsible
for supporting the business in developing and implementing a sustainable team strategy and team P&L
management.
Please note that this description is not all-encompassing as other ad hoc tasks are expected of the
position.
Essential FunctionsSpearhead a segment of Key Accounts; responsible for the annual growth in new clients to meet
with new services and funded unit goals
Effectively recruit, hire, train and develop sales professionals
Set clear expectations and targets. Monitor both activities and results using sales automation
tools
Continuously manage performance through coaching, field sales training & constructive feedback
– all documented in SalesForce and Workday
Support the development of a macro strategy for the Key Accounts Team, focusing on new
business acquisition
Cooperate with Commercial Performance team to implement strategy, measure and control
results, and apply correction when needed
Work with Commercial Performance by providing input regarding fleet forecast on new clients
Utilize our CRM of choice (SF.com) as the single source of truth, making sure that team members
are maintaining up-to-date information regarding companies, contacts, opportunities, proposals, quotes, and other information needed for the management and business continuance of Wheels
Collaborate with the other Senior Leaders within the organization to gain their support in new
business acquisition affairs
Manage the set of KPI’s that will support the decision-making process and build efficiencies and
effectiveness of the team
Oversee the P&L of their segment, including but not limited to overhead, T&E, revenue generation
and organization of the group
Work with team members to develop pricing strategy and specific solutions to prospects within
Wheels delivery capabilities
Cooperate with other Commerce Team Business Units (Truck & Equipment, Special Programs,
International, Consultancy and Reimbursement) to match prospect specific needs
Support the development of the yearly Commercial Plan to be delivered to Wheels corporate
Support the team in developing the yearly budget, providing inputs and strategies to achieve the
numbers throughout the year
Develop the team, clearly identifying a succession plan for each one of the areas under their
responsibility
Partner with HR to build employee satisfaction and increase collaboration in the group
Develop a strong relationship with the Executive Leadership Team of Wheels to build a
sustainable path for the corporate fleet’s alignment with year goals and long-term expectations
Other duties assigned to ensure overall departmental efficiency.

Regularly review processes and procedures and provide recommendations for improvement.

Work Environment: The job is based on a virtual home office set up
Position Type/Standard Schedule: This is a full-time position scheduled to work Monday through
Friday.
Travel: Less than 40% of travel expected for this role.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree required. MBA desired.
3 - 4 years of fleet management sales experience desired
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Proficient in the use of SalesForce
