At Okta, we celebrate a variety of perspectives and experiences. We are not looking for someone who checks every single box - we’re looking for lifelong learners and people who can make us better with their unique experiences.

Join our team! We’re building a world where Identity belongs to you.

As a Staff Technology Program Manager, you are in a highly visible position within the organization – partnering with Engineering, Product, and Design to drive and deliver key communications, programs, and highly engaging events that power innovation and strengthen organizational alignment. You will be a key owner in shaping the culture and brand of the organization through strategic communication initiatives such as internal and external communication assets. You will also be a key contributor for our annual kickoff, Hackathon, and org wide programs. This role requires a balance of both high-level strategic planning and detailed oriented execution and stakeholder management.

The qualified candidate will not only be an expert communicator, but also have strong TPM experience in a Technology/SaaS environment. You’re an individual who is self-motivated and driven, can thrive in a fast paced setting, and has a demonstrated commitment to take accountability, lead execution and successful delivery of large horizontal initiatives with ambiguity and competing priorities.

Duties:

Create a unified vision for all communication channels to the organization (Newsletters, podcasts, emails, internal websites) so everyone has access to the right information at the right time in the right place

Serve as the focal point for all communication assets internally and externally to the organization. Author org-wide written communications that match the clarity and conciseness of Okta’s guideline and style

Partner with the team to deliver events and collateral that drive alignment and enable successful business outcomes

Coreteam member for annual Kickoff event for a global audience. Determine theme, key messaging, format, session content, speakers, engagement, and production support for the entire event

Be a creative thought leader and propose improvements and ways of delivering content that increases engagement and business impact. Lead end to end creation, alignment and execution on events or improvements, continue to track OKRs and propose improvements.

Work with the team and organization leaders to propose new strategies and channels of engagement that provide a better experience (ie. onboarding, best practices), and increase the Technology brand awareness internally and externally (ie. blogs, speaking engagements)

Strong and articulate communicator, working with and managing multiple cross-functional stakeholders, incorporating various viewpoints and data sources to create a cohesive and compelling narrative in communication assets and program messaging

Significant Experience in creation of a project plan, stakeholder management, leading meetings, and regular communication of progress.

Coordinate with management and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery of organizational events
