SUMMARY: The Project Manager under direction of Plant Director is responsible for overseeing various projects within our manufacturing operations. You will play a key role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the manufacturing sector, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage resources effectively.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
•Project Planning and Execution: Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, and deliverables. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the project are defined and achievable.
•Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively and manage resource conflicts as they arise. Monitor resource utilization and adjust plans as necessary to ensure project success.
•Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively manage risks throughout the project lifecycle to minimize impact on project goals.
•Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards defined by the company. Implement quality control processes and conduct regular quality assessments.
•Communication and Reporting: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide project updates, solicit feedback, and address concerns. Prepare and deliver project status reports to management and stakeholders as required.
•Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams. Foster a collaborative team environment and promote a culture of accountability and high performance.
•Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within project management and manufacturing operations. Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.
•Performance Monitoring: Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to projects and provide regular reports to management on performance metrics.
•Time Management and Prioritization: Manage multiple projects simultaneously if necessary and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.

•Budget Management: Experience in managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring projects are delivered within budget constraints.

•Decision Making: Making decisions that align with project goals and objectives. •Project Management Software: Experience in managing projects using software like Microsoft Project, Asana, and others. •Change Management: Ability to manage and adapt to change within the Manufacturing environment. This includes implementing new processes, technologies, or organizational changes effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
•Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field. from an accredited college or university.
•Minimum 5 years of experience within a manufacturing environment and cable and wiring industry would be a plus.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
•Project Management Software and ERP systems (SAP)
•PMP Certification would be a plus
COMPUTER SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in the use of Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word software.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee must be able to tolerate conditions associated with no air conditioning or heat.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
