Position Summary
The North America Services Business (NASB) develops services across Samsung's mobile, digital, and TV ecosystems. Our mission is to inspire and engage users with interactive and imaginative experiences.
This position will be responsible for defining and building on the vision of our services across Samsung's Mobile platform. As a leader in this organization, you will have a tremendous opportunity to drive impact and business objectives for NASB. You will bring your own and your team's product innovations to life through flawless execution and collaboration. You will help shape our portfolio and influence the development of our services. This role requires a combination of leadership, strategic thinking, business acumen, technical depth, critical thinking, sharp product judgment and strong product management expertise.
Working with Product, Marketing, BD, Engineering, Data and Operations, you will lead point on strategy definition, development, implementation, launch and growth of our Mobile services. This role involves a combination of launching new services and features and growing established businesses.
Role and Responsibilities

Lead a high-functioning team and create strong leaders within the team
Set the vision and roadmap for our services and run the project/product development cycle
Proactively interface, and serve as a strategic partner, with our leadership and cross-functional teams to develop new product concepts using market data, usability studies and product development frameworks, and carry concepts to a successful launch
Understand and articulate user needs, build associated business cases and prioritize product requirements
Think through products from UX, engineering and business perspectives
Collaborate with engineering to create proof-of-concepts, prototypes, and other creative ways to gather direct feedback early in the product development process
Use data to drive decisions; ability to use hard data and metrics to make data-driven decisions and back up product decisions
Functionally lead other matrixed organizations including marketing, BD, UX, strategy, engineering collaboratively
Drive execution, leading internal & external cross-functional teams to bring new features to life on time and on budget.
Manage project risks, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the life of the project
Manage stakeholder communications and progress reporting
Ensure quality of deliverables is verified and matching expectations
Manage multiple concurrent projects with multiple teams around the world
Lead and collaborate with marketing to drive awareness and create demand for new services
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to understand industry and competitive landscapes.

Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field AND 16+ years of relevant experience with proven record around delivery OR Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field AND 14+ years OR Ph. D. with 11+ years of relevant experience
5+ years of product team leadership
Proven experience with Mobile, Digital and TV services
Self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong leadership, collaboration - with experience managing, directing, and monitoring cross-functional teams to achieve an outcome.
Track record of building and launching new products
Proven analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to make data-driven decisions and back up product decisions
Ability to take a high strategic view as well as dive deep on issues
The ability to manage chaos, ambiguity and complexity, in a detailed, organized way
Ability to have challenging conversations at all seniority levels internally and externally.
Ability to negotiate with multiple stakeholders, be able to defend work, and also know when to accept direction
Ability to navigate heavily matrixed organizations and thrive within a fast-paced environment
Previous experience in the gaming, entertainment or media industry, or like-business a plus
For candidates based in California, compensation for this role is expected to be between $320,000 and $350,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
