Logistics/Shipping Coordinator (Contract)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Receiving shipments from vendors and transport boxes from the loading dock to the office.
Verifying shipment contents with packing slips and entering data into the computer system to update purchasing records for Accounts Payable.
Managing package deliveries from multiple vendors and catering deliveries while maintaining orders.
Organizing delivery contents in relevant departments around the office.
Coordinating with building facilities team members as needed.
Performing office management tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with accurately cataloging packages in the purchasing system.
Prior warehouse or shipping and receiving experience within the biopharmaceutical industry.
Basic understanding of data entry and ability to navigate purchasing software programs.
Good communication and organizational skills
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Team-oriented for collaboration with Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Facilities, and Lab Operations departments.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Capacity to maintain accurate records.
Ability to lift boxes weighing approximately 50 lbs.
Prior experience using a pallet jack is a plus.
