Our client is an established leader, developer, manufacturer and distributor of Lab Diagnostics and Scientific Instrumentation Equipment. They provide both academic institutions, healthcare and pharmaceutical / life sciences organizations across the world with the analytical instrumentation, technical resources and lab equipment needed to help with medical breakthroughs. They are expanding their sales team and looking for a strong, clinically savvy Account Executives to join their Microbiology division.
Job Description:
The Account Executive will be working a regional territory and focused on bringing in new business with the Microbiology and Diagnostics space, with a specific focus around Infectious Disease Identification.
The Account Executive will be responsible for building relationships with key accounts, creating account planning strategies and forecasting for their region.
The Account Executive will be tasked with achieving annual sales quotas with an average equipment sale price of $250k and must be comfortable negotiating on capital equipment deals.

The Account Executive will be tasked with achieving annual sales quotas with an average equipment sale price of $250k and must be comfortable negotiating on capital equipment deals.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology or equivalent scientific degree required.
5-10+ Years of experience selling mass spectrometry, analytical instrumentation or similar diagnostic kits and/or equipment to healthcare or life science accounts.
Ideal candidate will have previous experience working within a CRM system and the ability to work well in a remote, autonomous environment
Location: This is a remote, work from home opportunity where you will be covering a five-state region in the Mid-Atlantic (MD, VA, DC, NJ and DE)Candidatesmust live in Baltimore, MD or the Greater Washington, DC areas and be willing to travel up to 50% via car throughout the region. Job #5025
