Overview:
General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS), a premier provider to the US Department of Defense and allied nations, is seeking an Sr. Director, Business Development Strategy to join our Healdsburg or Folsom California team.
As a member of the location senior management team, the Sr. Director, Business Development Strategy position Identifies new business opportunities and creates appropriate business plans. This role identifies new market opportunities (i.e., products/services, technologies, markets) and monitors the organization's market share and competition. This position also develops and manages the building of key partnerships and business relationships with customers and business partners.

Major Position Responsibilities:
Directs business development strategies designed to generate, pursue, and close business with prospect accounts.
Oversees the development and execution of the organization's business development program.
Assesses potential new markets, evaluates business opportunities, and develops strategies for targeting potential customers.
Establishes standards governing lead generation, prospect contact and follow-up, and opportunity qualification.
Develops strategies for assessing customer needs and positioning the organization's products or services as potential solutions.
Tracks business development activities and reports on results to management.
Maintains an ongoing level of engagement with key clients and builds trusting relationships with new & existing customers.
May also include responsibilities for International Business Development Including:
Overseeing attainment and improvement of international competitive position. Develops strategies to maximize sales volumes through effective financial management. Implements international marketing and sales policies. Evaluates program results to enhance operations and accomplish further success.
Basic Qualifications:
Associates degree
Bachelors degree preferred (Business Management or related discipline)
12 - 15 years of relevant experience in like function
Pay Range (USD):
$160,160 - $297,440
Additional Compensation - ICP:
Hired applicant will be eligible to participate in the Companys Incentive Compensation Program.
