About the Role
The Company is seeking a full-time permanent Head of Applied AI to join their remote team. This executive leadership role will be responsible for overseeing AI, ML, and data strategy disciplines, with a focus on shaping the vision and commercialization of AI solutions. The successful candidate will be expected to have a strong background in AI/ML expertise, including experience in conceiving, planning, and implementing AI solutions, particularly in the context of early-stage and mid-market companies. The role involves building trusted partner relationships, crafting and implementing a clear vision for AI capability, and leading a team to deliver on that vision. The Head of Applied AI will also play a key role in driving the company's growth and expansion in the market, with a specific emphasis on the strategic use of AI to create a competitive advantage for both the company and its partners.Applicants for this role at the company should have a proven track record in commercializing AI/ML, ideally within a consultancy or agency setting. Experience working with PE firms, VC/Incubators, and their portfolio companies is essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, commercial acumen, and a dynamic, ambitious approach to company building. The role requires the ability to inspire and mobilize talent, as well as partners, with strategic AI thinking to deliver tangible business outcomes.
