Industry Marketing Leader- Financial Services

Equifax is looking for a strong, passionate Industry Marketing Leader for our financial services business with a focus on strategic planning and flawless execution while generating results. This leader needs to be strategic, highly organized, influential, polished and comfortable dealing with a wide variety of personalities within a highly matrixed environment from c-level to other key stakeholders. This position follows a hybrid framework requiring in-office presence at our Midtown Atlanta location and the ability to travel up to 25%.
What you’ll do: Lead and motivate a high-performing team
Understand the needs of the business and ensure we have the right skill set to drive forward innovative and effective marketing strategies
Develop yearly strategic marketing plans based on the business unit’s and industry's strategic playbook
Lead, develop and manage execution of all marketing tactics and activities via various channels including heavy thought leadership and events
Monitor industry trends (e.g. industry regulations, technology trends, macroeconomic conditions, business processes, challenges) and terminology, and act as an industry subject matter expert
Have an exceptional understanding of the customer, their persona and their challenges then map back how Equifax can help solve those challenges with product/solutions sets
Understand the demand types within financial services based on the direct/indirect channels (new concept, new paradigm, established market) and value propositions
Create and execute content strategies that encapsulate effective audience-centric messaging and value propositions in a variety of formats, including white papers, brochures, social media, Web pages, online events and much more
Participate in market and customer research to gather data and insight about target personas, messages and themes and overall market position
Work with the appropriate subject-matter-experts and sales training and enablement teams to understand and communicate sales engagement models to drive faster sales adoption of new offerings
Develop, monitor and report out monthly on a set yearly budget
Develop monthly pipeline and closes/won revenue reporting package to share with key stakeholders including sales
What experience/qualifications/skillsets you need:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field
Minimum of 8 years marketing experience including B2B
Minimum of 5 years experience working with or within the financial services industry
Experience working with demanding C-suite executives, including, but not limited to the CEO and Senior Leadership Team
Budget management experience
A high sense of urgency
Excellent client relations & customer service skills
Ability to act quickly and decisively with solutions to unexpected issues
Effective communication skills (written and verbal) both internally and externally
Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team
Verified project management skills; ability to plan, manage and complete projects
Strong time management and ability to handle multiple demands and sets priorities
Problem-solving skills and the ability to motivate team
Ability to work under stressful conditions and in a fast moving environment
Ability to meet deadlines and/or to effectively communicate deviations of deadlines on a daily basis
