About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Technology Services Operations to lead the design, implementation, and scaling of end user and infrastructure solutions. This role is pivotal in ensuring world-class service and availability to the company's global customer base. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a range of functional areas, including data center, cloud, storage, networking, incident management, and change management. They will also be accountable for the strategic alignment of technology with business goals, developing and maintaining a managed services strategy, and architecting a technology roadmap. Building and managing a high-performance team, driving continuous improvement, and fostering strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders are key aspects of this position.Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and a minimum of fifteen years' experience in various technical disciplines, including service desk, networking, data centers, cloud computing, and security. The role requires a proven track record in operations management, particularly in a customer-facing IT-managed services environment, and experience in managing large vendor relationships. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and negotiation skills are essential, as is the ability to influence senior management and drive the organization's technology vision. The ideal candidate will have a background in high-impact, mission-critical projects and the ability to implement and communicate processes and standards effectively. Knowledge of global infrastructure support, particularly in the context of an investment management firm, is a plus. The role may involve domestic and international travel, and the candidate should be able to perform essential job functions in various work environments.
