About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Technology to spearhead the leadership of software engineering, network operations, and product management. The successful candidate will be instrumental in executing the organization's technology strategy, ensuring technical oversight, and driving innovative solutions for both customers and stakeholders. This role involves responsibility for a wide range of areas, including code quality, release governance, infrastructure, process improvement, risk mitigation, and financial planning. The VP of Technology will also be a key member of the Senior Leadership team, tasked with inspiring the organization towards innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.Candidates for the VP of Technology position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a Master's degree preferred in a related discipline. A minimum of 12 years of engineering experience, particularly in a Linux environment, and at least 5 years of senior leadership experience are required. The role demands a proven track record of leading teams of 20 or more engineers, a fundamental knowledge of LAMP environments, and a history of working with the Agile methodology. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership, coaching, and team management skills, and be adept at strategic thinking, challenging the status quo, and fostering an entrepreneurial mindset. Responsibilities also include managing and growing the technology team, communicating technology strategies, and ensuring high standards for software engineering.
