About the position

We are seeking an exceptional Scientist with 2+ years of industry experience to join our growing team. You will be responsible for conducting scientific research and experiments related to immune cell activation and evaluation of novel immune stimulants using in vivo and in vitro modeling. Your day-to-day tasks will include designing and performing experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to the development of therapeutic strategies. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and contribute to the advancement of therapeutics in the field of age-related diseases.

Education Minimum Requirements

PhD in immunology, cell biology, or related biomedical science with 2+ years of industry experience.

MS in immunology, cell biology, or related biomedical science with 3-5 years of industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

Design and execute high-dimensional flow-based assays to screen and validate Deciduous’ lead compounds.

Develop and perform immunological cell-based functional assays (cell lines, primary cells, whole blood) to support target validation, and drug target pathway activity.

Collect, process, and critically interpret data; Accurately document assay results and analyze data through the maintenance of an updated electronic laboratory notebook, prepare study reports, and communicate results and research progress in lab meetings as needed.

Required Experience and Skills

Masters with 3-5 years of industry experience OR PhD with 1-3 years of industry experience.Strong background in immunology, particularly T-cell biology, innate immune system, or related expertise.

Demonstrate track record of productivity with running and analyzing multi-color (8+ colors) flow cytometry, immune cell phenotyping, T cell and NKT cell stimulation assays, cytotoxic assays, ELISA, and cell culture aseptic technique.

Well-developed understanding of flow cytometry, cell sorting and immunology, following best industry practices.

Experience working with mouse and human samples, developing, and optimizing cell-based immunological assays to assess immune responses from PBMCs and various immune cell subsets.

Proficiency in flow cytometry analysis and acquisition software, Flowjo and GraphPad Prism.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, and project management skills, with meticulous attention to detail.Commitment to scientific rigor.
