Position Title: Director of Strategic Planning and Initiatives

Salary: 130,000

As a Director of Strategic Planning and Initiatives, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and advancing our CCL Hospitality Group's strategic endeavors, operating at the intersection of corporate, client, digital, and operational strategy. Your multifaceted responsibilities encompass consultative support, stakeholder engagement, and project management, all aimed at supporting the execution of the strategic vision and priorities of our organization. You'll offer consultative guidance, collaborate with key stakeholders to foster buy-in, and drive projects to successful outcomes. Your strategic insights, collaborative approach, and project leadership will be instrumental in driving organizational success and growth.

Consultative support

+ Offer consultative guidance on strategic planning, including support in identifying organizational priorities and the development of a roadmap for strategic initiatives

+ Provide consultative coaching and guidance to corporate support teams on the development of business plans and initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate key result areas.

+ Collaborate with department leaders and support teams (Data Analytics, Finance Best Practices, etc.) to identify process gaps, key opportunities, and challenges, providing analysis, recommendations, and actionable insights to drive process improvement and alignment with organizational objectives.

Stakeholder engagement

+ Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders across various departments to foster buy-in for strategic initiatives.

+ Facilitate cross-departmental cooperation and alignment through workshops, meetings, and other mechanisms to ensure support for strategic initiatives.

+ Support and develop mechanisms to ensure effective liaison and coordination between members of the leadership team with respect to progressing initiatives and objectives.

Project management

+ Collaborate with CCL Hospitality Group leadership team and key stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with strategic goals and priorities.

+ Lead and direct Steering Groups comprising senior members from various functional teams.

+ Identify, establish, and allocate necessary resources for the project.

+ Create end-to-end project plans.

+ Execute and implement projects within agreed timelines while achieving project objectives

+ Ensure effective communication and progress monitoring

+ Report progress and key issues to leadership, and other stakeholders.

+ Create and maintain all project documentation, including status reports, work plans, and presentations.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for an advanced degree such as an MBA.

+ Prior experience in consulting or managing complex, large-scale projects and initiatives in a business environment.

+ Strong analytical skills to address complex business challenges.

+ Quick thinking, good judgment, and a penchant for innovative problem-solving.

+ Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects under tight deadlines, demonstrating effective prioritization and successful delivery.

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate with all levels of the organization.

+ Demonstrated leadership and influencing abilities, earning trust as a valued advisor to business leaders.

Proficiency in project management methods and tools.
