Regional Sales Manager - Connecticut

3-5 years of successful industrial sales experience
Extensive relationships with industry-related contractors and facilities
Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% time within the local region & up to 50% overnight travel
Must be self-motivated and focused on excellence
Strong sales and business acumen with the ability to uncover and overcome obstacles
Exceptional listening and communicating skills
Ability to work independently within assigned territory, while remotely working with teams internally
Strong organizational skills to manage routine appointments and the inevitable unforeseen event
Proof of valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation required
Responsibilities Take ownership of growing territory, including volume, revenue, gross profit, and customer satisfaction
Deliver engaging presentations to various levels of organizations
Organize and execute product demonstrations and trials
Establish products and specifications; including but not limited to, sole source specifications and approved product lists
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including, but not limited to, Project Managers, Superintendents, Construction/Coatings Managers, Spec Writers and Coatings/Corrosions SMEs
Participate in and influence Industry Committees and Society Organizations
Collaborate regularly with the Sales Director to develop marketing and sales strategies to ensure effectiveness
Continuous collaboration with internal teams to execute sales strategies and enhance customer experience
Remain knowledgeable and up to date on changes and developments within our industry
Participate in corporate trade shows and marketing activities, as assigned
Performs other duties as assigned
