As a Marketing Automation Manager, you will play a crucial role in streamlining marketing efforts to ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness. This position is vital for enhancing the marketing technology (martech) stack, driving the adoption and effective use of technologies, including Salesforce and Pardot, and establishing robust reporting mechanisms. We are looking for a tech-savvy, analytical, and process-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about the intersection of technology and marketing.

What you’ll do:

Marketing Automation and CRM Management: Oversee the optimization and day-to-day operation of Salesforce and Pardot for the marketing team, ensuring these systems work seamlessly together to enhance lead management, scoring, nurturing, and alignment between marketing and sales efforts. Work closely with Salesforce Admins (in the IT team) and external partners to ensure that the group instance of Salesforce meets the requirements of the marketing team, and take full responsibility for the configuration and performance of Pardot.

Martech Stack Development: Evaluate, select, and manage marketing technologies that align with business goals. Drive the adoption and effective use of new martech solutions across the marketing team (e.g., AI-based tools) to enhance productivity and campaign outcomes, building on our core platform of Salesforce and Pardot for CRM and marketing automation.

Data Management and Analytics: Oversee the collection, management, analysis, and interpretation of marketing data to provide actionable insights. Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all marketing platforms, particularly within Salesforce and Pardot.

Demand Gen Campaign Support: Work with demand generation teams to ensure that campaigns are set up correctly in Salesforce and Pardot and executed efficiently.

Reporting and Insights: Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting frameworks to track key marketing performance metrics. Provide regular insights to the marketing team and senior management, informing strategic decisions and campaign adjustments.

Process Optimization: Continually assess and refine marketing processes for greater efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness. Implement best practices in marketing operations.

Collaboration and Support: Work closely with the marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure seamless integration of the martech stack and alignment of marketing operations with company objectives.

Training and Adoption: Lead training sessions and create documentation to facilitate the adoption of new martech solutions and processes within the marketing team.

Vendor and Budget Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring high-quality support and services for our martech tools. Own the budget for the martech stack.

Qualifications/Experience:

5+ years of experience in marketing operations, specific experience managing Salesforce (ideally with certifications in both tools).

Strong understanding of marketing technologies and trends.

Proven track record of implementing and optimizing marketing processes and technology solutions.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights (experience with Power BI or other business intelligence platforms is a plus).

Strong project management abilities, with experience managing cross-functional projects.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
