VP, Commercial Strategy & Execution

The VP of Commercial Strategy & Execution plays a pivotal role in the development and execution of growth strategies for Equifax's Commercial business. The successful candidate will understand the competitive landscape, market trends, and voice of the customer/partner, and will use these insights to identify opportunities for growth. This individual will be a “Chief of Staff” and right hand for the SVP/GM of Commercial and will help the GM “run the business" by monitoring the portfolio of strategic projects and initiatives to ensure successful execution. This requires strong project management skills, effective collaboration/coordination with supporting cross-functional teams (Product, Technology, Operations, etc.) and vertical market revenue leaders (Financial Services, Fintech/Payments, Strategic Partners, etc.) across the USIS business. He/she will promote accountability, execution transparency, and a strong focus on results to drive the successful realization of a portfolio of strategic growth initiatives.
What you’ll do
Collaborate, influence, and coordinate across a broad internal stakeholder group to align on strategy, develop key work streams and plans, and drive execution against those plans to drive revenue growth
Gather and synthesize market intelligence, competitive analysis, and industry economic researchto identify growth opportunities to drive revenue and profit
Identify and assess requirements for sales and customer support. Evaluate sales processes to accelerate sales cycle and reduce time to revenue for customers during the onboarding process
Monitor and manage execution of strategic initiatives leveraging Wrike project management platform.
Establish effective business processes for handling customer problems when they emerge, determine the root causes of lagging revenue growth and/or profitability
Create periodic updates/presentations on strategic initiatives for Senior Leadership Team
Partner with GM and Finance to develop annual Commercial budget and business plans
Developing content for various Commercial communications (USIS updates, Quarterly webcasts, etc)
What experience you need
MBA
15+ years of experience in strategy roles, of which 3+ in Top Tier management consulting firms, with a proven track record of (a) leading strategy projects while working across multiple stakeholder groups and (b) defining and delivering a cross-enterprise strategy
High degree of comfort on managing multiple assignments and priorities simultaneously
Strong quantitative and problem solving skills
Executive presence and comfort with presenting to senior executives
Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to align and coordinate internal resources
Refined skills in developing and delivering compelling presentations
