About the team and the role:

We are currently seeking a highly driven and proactive Experience Owner to join our Conversion Programs team at eBay. In this critical role, you will be at the forefront of shaping customer experiences through Post Purchase communications. Your mission will be to drive business growth and customer improvements by innovating and enhancing the multi-channel communications portfolio across Email, Push Notifications, and Native Hub Notification. You will own revenue targets, long-term strategy, roadmap, and end-to-end execution for this multimillion dollar portfolio. This is a highly cross functional role, where you will get to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across eBay.

What will you accomplish:

The 'CEO' of your experience: define and communicate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Post Purchase / Order Series communications portfolio

Execute the roadmap by working with engineering, data science and design teams. Build MVPs, iterate fast and be the champion of execution excellence

Domain expertise in the marketing/growth channels such as Push Notification and Email

Draft and convey requirements to Engineering teams

Conduct AB testing: develop hypotheses, design tests, and define KPIs

Conduct market and competitor research for strategic insights

Collaborate with Creative to enhance content and design

Prioritize features based on business impact and user needs.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis for strategic insights

Facilitate communication and collaboration between development team and stakeholders

What will you bring:

7+ years of strong product / business / marketing experience with at least 5 years in ecommerce. Marketplace experience is strongly preferred

Technical Product Management experience or comparable experience working directly with Engineering teams (both front-end and back-end); technical understanding of building products / communications from scratch

Relentless execution and attention to detail - ability to ship quality experiences in a fast paced and iterative manner

Experience in developing email and native app notifications in ecommerce.

Experience navigating highly complex cross-functional projects end-to-end

Strong experience owner sense - ability to understand consumer needs and find simple and creative ways to solve them

Metrics driven - ability to build actionable metrics which can measure experience performance

Builds strong relationships across various teams within eBay; an active listener and clear communicator; can lead by influencing

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.

$149,200 - $234,850

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
