Position directs and coordinates the sales, operations, and customer service departments to obtain efficiency and economy of operations. Plans, develops, and implements company policy and goals. Responsible for developing and growing sales staff.

With more than 20 locations and over 1,300 employees, Vomela utilizes the latest in technology to manage, produce, and distribute corporate marketing programs and collateral, retail in-store signage (POS/POP), store décor, tradeshow and event programs and transportation and fleet graphics.

Responsibilities:

Plans and directs production activities, establishing priorities in keeping with effective operations and cost factors.

Carries out leadership responsibilities in accordance with company policies, procedures, safety, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Builds and develops sales team.

Recruit, mentor, support and manage new Account Executives hired for the team

Achieve sales objectives by contributing to the development of the sales staff

Collaborate with sales staff for ongoing training needs and feedback on existing programs

Reviews and analyzes production quality control and maintenance operational reports to determine causes of deviance from product specifications.

Develops and implements operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate production problems and improve product quality.

Confers with management to establish production and quality control standards.

Develops budget and cost controls for all plant operational activities.

Confers with management to revise production schedules as a result of equipment failure or operating problems.

Selects, trains, and reviews the performance of plant management personnel. Confers with management regarding salary adjustments for operations personnel.

Requirements:

Master's and/or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Communication, Business Administration or similar degree preferred

Minimum of 5 years of successful business to business print sales experience

Minimum 2 years of sales management experience plus additional success in business to business sales, cold calling and account management

Experience managing financial statements

The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced, high energy environment

Great communication skills

Competitive, persistent and eager to achieve results

Confidence, enthusiasm and an ability to persuade and influence others
