**Job Summary**

Responsible for the day-to-day monitoring of Battelle’s bank activity, including the analysis of cash administration, banking activity, services and performance and cash forecasting and reporting. Oversees the daily cash receipt process. Collaborates internally across departments and with external banking partners.

**Responsibilities**

+ Administers cash administration activities to minimize risk; monitors and processes all cash, checks and electronic payments as well as payments made to Battelle’s lockboxes.

+ Processes and records banking transactions in Battelle’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software with a focus on automation and continuous improvement.

+ Oversees all outgoing electronic payments, including wire, ACH, and foreign currency.

+ Maintains accurate, complete and current files relating to lines of credit, letters of credit, and inter- company loans.

+ Prepares cash forecasting reports; monitors, oversees all banking activity to enable effective cash management.

+ Determines and records daily activity on lines of credit. Monitors available funds on inter-company loans when requests for additional funds are received.

+ Responds promptly and accurately to staff and vendor inquiries relating to all Treasury areas.

+ Serves as back up to Manager, Treasury Management on all Treasury issues related to Battelle’s capital structure.

+ Maintains effective working knowledge of applicable procedures relating to banking rules and regulations.

+ Coordinates the opening and closing of all Battelle and subsidiary bank accounts, both domestic and foreign.

+ Handles the off-site debit card program in support of staff doing surveys and manages the foreign draft process.

**Key Qualifications**

+ Requires a Bachelor’s degree; two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in a related field.

+ Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis
