About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Software Engineering to join their team. This key leadership role involves driving the strategic direction and execution of multiple software development initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction and technical leadership, managing global teams, and shaping the future of the technology stack and development processes. They will also be tasked with setting and enforcing code standards, fostering a culture of innovation, and ensuring that software development efforts align with market trends and customer needs. Collaboration with product management and executive leadership to define product roadmaps and priorities is essential, as is the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and architectural designs.Applicants for this role should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, with at least 10 years 'of experience in software engineering and managing people.
