About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP of Software Engineering - Frameworks to lead the delivery of innovative platform capabilities and solutions that are essential for the business's growth. The successful candidate will be a highly respected technology leader with a strong background in building and managing world-class engineering teams. This role is pivotal in overseeing the core technology products that drive the platform, including user management, administration, authentication, authorization, search, file systems, UX frameworks, data storage, encryption, public APIs, and developer tools. The VP will be responsible for team leadership and development, engineering strategy and vision, and engineering operations, ensuring that all activities are aligned with business objectives and driving a strong engineering culture.Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years of progressive software engineering experience, with a preference for those who also have 7+ years of people management experience in a product organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the areas of technology and product development, particularly in the B2B SaaS space. Essential skills include the ability to inspire and lead large, global teams, a commercial mindset for market expansion, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The role requires a leader with a 'make-it-work' mindset, capable of driving teams to meet company and engineering KPIs, while continuously improving quality and productivity.
