At Lord Abbett, we consider our guests experience a top priority. As Receptionist, we will expect you to ensure that every guest feels welcome upon entering our global headquarters. Every single day will be different - so it's important that you are attentive and come in with an open mindset, ready to tackle any challenge thrown your way. The Receptionist must be reliable and able to start the workday onsite at our Headquarters in Jersey City from 7:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., depending on firm needs.

Well trust you to::

Welcome and announce clients, candidates, and visitors to Lord Abbett

Operate call directory equipment to transfer incoming calls to correct person

Open, maintain, and close down the reception area, including operating the digital kiosk

Assist with scheduling and preparing meetings and conference rooms

Monitor the comings and goings of vendors, contractors and logistical personnel

Maintain records of service requests and track their status

Understand security procedures and ensure compliance by guests and employees

Perform other administrative tasks, as needed

You'll need to have:: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience

Strong presence, confidence, and professional demeanor

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint

Passion for client service and interacting with a diverse group of people

Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to a dynamic environment

Proven ability to organize, manage, and plan several concurrent initiatives with varying priorities

Compensation Information: Annual base salary for this role is $65,000. Salary is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.

Discretionary Bonus: Role may be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are determined by several factors including, but not limited to, firm, team, and individual performance.
