Fulfillment Associate
Fulfillment associates fulfills basic warehousing and stock order duties. They are responsible for offloading merchandise trucks, deciphering work orders, locating stock, and packing items for shipment. They act in a junior role and report directly to the Warehouse Team Lead. Embracing and exemplifying Samsill's values and corporate culture will be a critical success factor for this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Manual order selection with pallet jack and RF scanner
General warehouse clean-up
Loading/Unloading trucks
Offloading delivery trucks transporting merchandise into the warehouse.
Arranging incoming deliveries in designated storage areas.
Inspecting the goods for damage, flaws, and irregularities.
Transporting the packed items to the delivery trucks.
Finalizing the work order and updating the database.
Double-checking shipment contents against work orders to ensure accuracy
Other general warehouse duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Or 2-3 years of related experience and/or training.
Forklift experience preferred, not required

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee may lift to 50 pounds on occasion. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
