About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Corporate Controller to join their Finance leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and directing all financial accounting activities, including GL accounting, payroll, equity, AP, AR, and SEC reporting. This role requires a candidate with a strong background in managing aspects of accounting and reporting for a publicly traded company, ensuring compliance with SEC, US GAAP, and Sarbanes-Oxley S404. The VP, Corporate Controller will also be involved in maintaining internal controls, managing the accounting close and consolidation, and supporting the development of company-wide accounting policies and practices.Applicants must have a B.S. or Masters in Accounting, a CPA, and at least 15 years of related experience, with a preference for those with experience in Oracle. The role demands a leader with broad knowledge in the field, technical accounting skills, and a proven ability to work effectively in a public company environment. The ideal candidate will be adept at handling various financial operations, from customer collections to treasury functions, and will have a strong focus on team management and development. Collaboration with other departments and the broader organization is essential, as is the ability to facilitate sales through guidance on financial matters. The VP, Corporate Controller will also be responsible for managing relationships with external auditors, ensuring tax and accounting compliance, and overseeing financial systems and service providers.The candidate should be a team player, with a commitment to creating an inclusive and growth-oriented work environment.
