Must have Skills:
1st - IaC, Terraform, should know how different permissions works etc.
2nd - AWS Cloud
3rd: Golang, hands-on with Go functions and frameworks
4th (Optional): API (great to have) - Hands-on experience developing APIs in GO

As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at "client" within the Corporate Investment Banking, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. Drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions and apply deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of challenges that span multiple technologies and applications.
Job responsibilities
Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others.
Drives decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes.
Lead the design and development of the cloud infrastructure offerings and platform tools, ensuring that they are secure, scalable, and reliable
Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle
Influences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies
Adds to the team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Collaborate with development teams to enable the delivery of high-quality, secure, and scalable applications on the cloud
Identify areas of improvement and prioritize initiatives that align with business goals and objectives
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud technologies and bring in recommendations for adoption and implementation of new tools/technologies
Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements for the cloud
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud computing platform
Hands-on experience with Cloud Infrastructure Provisioning Tools like Terraform
Proficiency with programming languages like Golang, and understand software development best practices
Experience in development of REST API interfaces (SpringBoot, gRPC, Swagger, Flask), SQL and No-SQL technologies.
Hands-on experience with logging and monitoring tools Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus etc.
Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices, shift left methodologies and DevSecOps processes
Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
