The Job/What You’ll Do:
We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our growing marketing team. This role will focus on the marketing program for one of AssetMark's subsidiaries, Adhesion Wealth. They are a leading provider of outsourced investment management solutions for registered investment advisors (RIAs), RIA enterprises, TAMPs, and asset managers.
In this role, you will help implement Adhesion's marketing strategy and oversee content and marketing programs designed to create awareness, drive demand, and increase the share of wallet on the Adhesion platform. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to define requirements and deliver expected results. In this hands-on role, you must be an exceptional communicator with critical thinking, time management and proactive problem-solving skills.
This is a full-time position in AssetMark's Charlotte, NC office.
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the Marketing Manager role may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Plan and deliver an effective marketing program to drive business growth for Adhesion Wealth
Experience with analyzing data across social media, Google analytics, and marketing automation to create cohesive, understandable stories for stakeholders
Good understanding of digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Adwords, and Hubspot
Develop marketing campaigns based on business objectives; continually optimize campaigns and materials and make recommendations for improvements
Manage project plans and timelines to ensure the successful execution of marketing initiatives
Measure the effectiveness of marketing activities, and adapt marketing activities based on KPIs and progress toward critical business objectives
Manage go-to-market strategies and facilitate smooth on-boarding of new platform solutions
Develop sales tools, presentations, and other marketing materials to increase advisor engagement for solutions on the platform
Collaborate with the broader marketing team, key stakeholders at Adhesion, relationship managers, and sales teams to develop campaigns to support business objectives
Maintain processes to ensure consistently high quality of marketing deliverables, coordinating internal service providers and external vendors supporting projects as required
Serve as the liaison between Adhesion and vendors for campaign execution, social media, content creation, graphic design, and event planning for conferences
Contribute to the success of the broader Marketing organization by working closely with marketing team members to share best practices, identify opportunities to leverage content and messaging from related areas of the organization, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proven track record of building and executing marketing plans
Ability to develop, manage, and execute multichannel marketing programs to consistently deliver high-quality results
Ability to multi-task across projects as well as to bridge from marketing strategy to tactical marketing execution
Aptitude in evaluating and prioritizing competing projects while ensuring deadlines are met
Proficiency in simplifying complex concepts and writing for both advisor and investor audiences
Capable of working independently as well as being team-oriented, with high energy, enthusiasm, initiative, and commitment to delivering high-quality work
Detail-oriented, with solid organizational, time, and project management skills
Proficiency in working with remote team members in multiple office locations
High proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Some travel required
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field
5+ years of professional B2B marketing experience in financial services, professional services, or technology services
Experience creating content and presenting concepts and ideas to colleagues, internal clients, and partners
Experience leading by influence and keeping a focus on client service (both internal and external)
Strong knowledge of the financial services industry is required
Experience with the RIA marketplace and financial advisory is required
Knowledge of Salesforce, HubSpot, and other marketing automation tools is preferred
