The Opportunity
The Associate Director, Inside Sales - Outbound is responsible for overseeing the Outbound teams of Sales Managers and Sales Development Representatives. This individual has a strong analytical understanding of the key metrics that drive the business and will provide sales training, sales metrics, and ongoing feedback to their team. They will drive for efficiency and effectiveness in the sales process by identifying and implementing best practices inside and outside. Strong leadership, management, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
Develop a strong analytical understanding of the key metrics that drive the business, and leverage these KPIs to performance manage a diverse group of SDR's
Review and communicate the activity levels of the sales teams to ensure the proper frequency of coaching with SDR's is occurring to maximize customer contact
Provide market feedback on customer needs, evolving market trends, competitive insights, etc.
Inspire, motivate, and foster personal and career development of team members
Works with the VP of Inside Sales to develop sales goals and targets for direct sales business lines and provide feedback to ensure sales targets are achieved or exceeded
Creates a vision and strategy while providing decisive leadership to the sales team
Leverages existing sales tools and builds new ones, to drive efficiency and effectiveness while identifying and implementing best practices inside and outside of the company to improve the sales process
Recruits, builds, and develops a high performing sales team to deliver business results
Defines new sales staff commission and incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets
Develops and tracks KPI’s for sales team members
Develops and mentors the sales team to ensure success in meeting their sales goals through sales training, sales metrics, and ongoing feedback

Extraordinary communication and negotiation skills
Able to prioritize shifting workloads and responsibilities effectively
Experience working with marketplaces, marketplace solutions, fraud management or card-issuing solutions is a plus, but non-mandatory
Education & Requirements
6+ years of management experience
Expertise in a variety of sales concepts, practices, and procedures
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets at high performance organizations
SaaS Experience
Outreach experience
Salesforce experience (Lightning)
