Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Junior Program Manager to join our team. This position requires one day a week on site in Arlington, Virginia.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provides advanced support for program/project management, including:
Maintaining complex project timelines,
Tracking deliverables,
Gathering data and updating project/program financial status reports,
Update of project management models and forecasts,
Coordinating project/program management meetings, and
Preparation of briefings and presentations.
Gathers pre-implementation and post-implementation facts (from the customer) to contribute to the documentation of ROI and other Business Case components for the Past Performance write-up
Documents Past Performance write-ups.
Identifies opportunities for organic growth
Supporting requirement identification sessions with the customer
Basic Qualifications: 5 years of relevant Project Management experience
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering
CAPM certification
Experience with Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, PowerBI, etc.)
Experience preparing and presenting project status and health updates to customers and corporate leadership
Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting DoD or other federal agencies
Experience working in an Agile team
Experience supporting projects focused on providing solutions in the following areas: Asset Management (inclusive of real property and personal property), Logistics, and/or Human Capital Management
Security Clearance Requirements: US citizenship with the ability to obtain up to a secret level clearance.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
