The Opportunity:

As an IT Customer Consultant - Core Laboratory , you will be responsible for selling the Roche navify digital portfolio to IHN, hospital, and reference laboratory customers. This field-based position requires consultative sales experience along with lab workflow, IT infrastructure, data flow, and informatics expertise to effectively consult hospital, laboratory, and IT stakeholders around the Roche digital solutions capabilities customized to their facility or network. This position proactively engages early in the sales cycle to understand customer needs, deliver customized demos, and design customized digital solutions in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders across Roche's and customers' teams.

This is a field based role - the territory includes: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, and North Connecticut . You must reside within 50 miles of the territory. Travel in this role estimated 50%+.

Job Facts:

Generates new customer demand across the full portfolio of Core Lab navify products (middleware, connectivity, informatics, apps, etc).

Aligns and communicates with core laboratory sales and workflow consulting teams to develop and execute territory-specific total solution selling strategies to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.

Effective at penetrating complex and large IHN accounts to gain access to and secure key trusted relationships with key decision makers and engage in strategic IT discussions across all lab and IT buying influences, including CIO's, LIS Managers, Data Security and Lab IT managers

Adept at translating customer needs into internal action to meet those needs while balancing key business priorities and goals

Balances the need to advocate for customers while also demonstrating the drive and ability to negotiate and achieve strong business results for Roche.

Strong clinical and financial acumen with a demonstrated ability to understand and translate customer needs to effectively position the value of Roche digital solutions.

Effectively qualify leads and utilize outcomes from workflow analysis and impact studies to provide competitive differentiation and value to the overall customer solution. Provides in-depth technical expertise regarding assigned product lines.

Utilize competitive, customer, and product knowledge to establish competitive barriers to market penetration by positioning Roche navify digital solutions. Assist customers in achieving defined business/technical and personal goals. These responsibilities will include pre & post analysis review.

Work cross functionally with internal colleagues and peers to share information and best practices while remaining actively informed on industry/customer trends that impact business.

Deliver software demos and tailored technical presentations to internal and external audiences

Preferred experience in the chemistry/immunoassay laboratory space.

Who you are: Bachelor's Degree in a related field (ie, Information Technology) or equivalent experience.

5+ years relevant sales or equivalent experience (ie. enterprise software sales, consulting & services; ideally in a pre-sales or support position; technical lab sales)

Preferred Qualifications: Autonomous and organized with effective communication, negotiation, and problem solving skills

Familiarity with digital solutions, core laboratory middleware solutions and hospital LIS systems preferred

Experience with presenting technical information to large external and internal audiences

Relocation benefits not available for this role.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location Boston,MA is between $124,300-$230,900 . Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
