This is a hybrid role, with some onsite days and client visits required. You must live within driving distance of our Northgate location, which is located about 5 miles north of Seattle, Washington.
The Sales Executive for American Senior Resources (ASR, a Premera subsidiary) contributes to the achievement of short and long-term department/corporate goals, including increasing revenues by selling and increasing the penetration of products and services of ASR appointed carriers to designated new accounts located within their assigned market.
This sales professional will have a critical role partnering with key stakeholders and ASR mentors, selling products (Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, individual medical, voluntary products, life and annuities) either directly to the client or through various sales channels. The Sales Executive is accountable for meeting or exceeding targets and effectively managing client relationships.
What you’ll do:
Learn, practice and master ability to sell new products and services to clients and assigned accounts in a certain product line and/or market.
Build and maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and new product and services.
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of client’s objectives: discuss key performance indicators, analyze issues, and recommend/model changes as necessary to achieve those objectives.
Serve as negotiation liaison between internal and external parties, upsell and cross sell additional solutions to existing customers, provide service support and issue resolution for assigned clients, and provides education information to client, business, and channel partners.
Attend training and coaching sessions, demonstrating effective use and application of feedback.
Prepare and present professional and comprehensive proposals detailing products, services, and options.
Communicate all aspects of sale to internal and external customers.
Educate channel representatives regarding an account's financial aspects and available options.
Conduct meetings and develop communication strategies with assigned clients or sales channels.
Achieve performance expectations regarding sales goals and objectives.
Represent Premera ASR as a community leader through various organizations and activities throughout Washington.
What you’ll bring:
Bachelor's degree or four (4) years' work experience. (Required)
Two (2) years' sales experience and/or sales related experience. (Required)
Have a current agent's license or ability to obtain agent's license within 60 days of employment. (Required)
Ability to travel and stay overnight on occasion.
Working knowledge of market history of local networks and business partners.
Ability to work independently and/or in collaboration with various departments and levels of personnel.
Ability to organize and prioritize work.
Effective presentation, written and verbal.
Demonstrated effective problem solving, analytical and organization skills.
Strong human relations skills.
Demonstrated proficiency in all MS Office applications.

The pay for this role will vary based on a range of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographic location, market conditions, and specific skills and experience.
National Salary Range:
$67,800.00 - $98,400.00
National Plus Salary Range:
$67,800.00 - $112,200.00
National Plus salary range is used in higher cost of labor markets including Western Washington and Alaska.
