Junior Technical Project Manager, Application Development

Overview
Job Purpose
Responsible for all aspects of assigned technical projects. Projects will be focused on ICE Mortgage Technology's Data and Analytics products. Plans and coordinates all aspects of assigned projects from initiation through delivery.
Responsibilities
Manages technical project initiation through delivery which includes identifying contractual obligations, client needs and goals, existing situation, necessary contacts, and access to existing information as needed
Develops, defines and executes project plans, project scope, activities, schedules, budgets and deliverables
Identifies needed resources for projects; defines and assigns major project roles
Assigns and monitors the work of project team, providing technical and analytical support and direction
Manages project risks, issues/problems, and activity progress to ensure project goals (e.g., deadline, scope and quality) are achieved
Assists with problem resolution or risk mitigation as needed
Delivers informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups in ICE and/or in client organizations
Conducts project closure activities to formalize and communicate the project acceptance, handover documentation and ongoing activities to accountable teams, and completes a post-implementation review to identify areas of improvement
Identifies project management coordination process gaps or areas for improvement and recommends and implements solutions
Performs other related duties as assigned
Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
Requires 5+ years of project management experience specifically managing software development or system integration projects
3+ years of experience using Agile tools such as TFS/ADO, JIRA, or equivalent tools
Skilled in the use of project management software to manage projects (Microsoft Project, Visio, etc.)
Demonstrated skill in managing project budgets, forecasting, and creating timelines
Preferred
Project Management Certifications (PMP, CSM, ACP, CPM, etc.)
Agile certification such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified SAFe Agilist (Scaled Agile) certification
Power BI experience
Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Product Suite (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, OneNote, Outlook, Word, SharePoint, Access, etc.)
Knowledge of industry project management best practices (i.e., Project Management Body of Knowledge-PMBOK)
Skill in the use of negotiation techniques, conflict management, time management and problem solving
Schedule
This role offers work from home flexibility of 1 day per week.
