JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking a Sr. Failure Analysis Engineer for our Santa Clara office, requiring on-site attendance 5 days a week. The role involves driving the failure analysis of returned products, escalating issues to the Hardware Quality Engineering team, resolving escalated RMAs, tracking RMA failure trends, and ensuring the effectiveness of corrective actions. The position demands maintaining accurate data through SAP and Salesforce.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Drive returned product Failure Analysis, characterizing failures, and escalating issues to the Hardware Quality Engineering team.
Resolve escalated RMAs by identifying the hardware root cause.
Track and report on RMA failure trends and progress.
Monitor the effectiveness of process and product corrective actions.
Maintain accurate data entry in SAP and Salesforce databases.
Strong Linux system administration knowledge.
Outstanding communication skills.
Demonstrated hardware debugging and fault isolation ability.
