Your Impactful Role
+ Welcoming Presence: Greet and check in patients, visitors, and vendors with a warm and professional demeanor.
+ Financial Management: Collect payments, manage a daily collection log for co-pays, balances, and deposits. Prepare deposits and coordinate courier pick-ups.
+ Ambiance Curator: Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of patient waiting rooms, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere (replenishing coffee, etc.).
+ Visitor Screening: Screen every visitor and respond accordingly, adhering to all company procedures for receiving deliveries.
+ Phone Maestro: Answer and route phone calls with a friendly and professional attitude.
+ Data Guardian: Verify patient demographic and insurance information, making necessary updates in the EMR system.
+ Patient Support: Assess patient needs (e.g., wheelchairs/ambulation requirements) and assist with vendor drop-offs, patient pickups, etc.
+ Confidentiality Steward: Uphold a high level of confidentiality when servicing patients.
+ Supply Wizard: Order and maintain office supplies and break room inventory to ensure a smoothly running environment.
+ Special Assignment Guru: Take ownership of and maintain a designated area of special assignment.
+ Team Player: Embrace other duties as assigned with enthusiasm and dedication.
Qualifications
+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
+ Minimum one year experience in customer service in a high-volume atmosphere.
+ Prefer minimum two years’ experience as front desk coordinator in a health care organization to include basic knowledge of insurance plans, coverage and procedures .

The employee may be required to be on their feet much of the day and may need to push, pull, or transport patients on stretchers and in wheelchairs. These duties can be stressful, particularly when dealing with injured individuals. There is potential exposure to anesthetic gases, hazardous chemicals, blood and body fluids, sharps, and cleaning solutions. The employee frequently is required to move all extremities within a full range of motion, as well as stoop and bend at 90 degrees. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
