A recognized services organization in Ohio is currently seeking an experienced Sales professional to join their staff as their new Sales Director. In this role, the Sales Director will be responsible for actively seeking out and obtaining new customers while growing the business with current customers resulting in increased sales revenues, market share and profitability. Responsibilities The Sales Director will: Develop new and creative business opportunities for space and aviation OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers
Assist with the development of business cases for new business opportunities
Coordinate with the Facility Plant Managers, Account Managers, Technical Sales Engineers, and Leadership for both renewals and new business agreements
Organize a cross functional (Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain) sales business team (SBT) to respond to request for proposals (RFPs) for various business opportunities
Respond to various requests for quotation's (RFQ's) for new parts for all different customers in the value stream.
Assist with budgets and forecasting of revenue
Negotiate final terms and conditions (Ts&Cs) with new business prospects
Address all information on the Regional Sales Dashboard, including, order targets, win ratio, order book, and delivery targets
Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications: 7+ years of Strategic Account Management experience
Bachelor's Degree
Demonstrated success in selling and negotiating large, multi-year deals and in building and executing Strategic Account plans
Documented success in meeting or exceeding Revenue Plans
Mastery of executive Strategic Sales techniques
Computer savvy
Microsoft Office Suite proficient (PowerPoint, Excel, Etc.)
Solid problem solving and time management skills
Great interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized
Desired Skills: 5+ years of experience in the Aerospace / Defense industry
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administrative, Engineering and/or a related field
Experience with Fortune 100 accounts, employing a consultative selling methodology and selling complex solutions to achieve quantifiable business benefits
