Bohler is looking for a Business Development executiveto head up a talented team of Business Development professionals in securing new work opportunities and developing a strong pipeline of future business.

As head of Business Development and Sr. Director, you will follow through on Bohlers purpose of empowering the ambitious to become the accomplished by partnering with leadership to develop and execute firmwide business development strategies. As someone who thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, you will optimize our business development efforts while fostering a culture of cohesion and collaboration. This role reports directly to the Chief Strategy Officer.

What You'll Do:

+ Responsible for the oversight, management, and development of the Business Development team, actively contributing to their professional development, inspiring them to achieve excellence, and cultivating a positive and collaborative work environment.

+ In collaboration with key stakeholders, responsible for developing and ensuring effective execution of a firmwide strategic business development plan.

+ Provide guidance and strategic direction to Business Development Leaders in creating and implementing local business development plans.

+ Track and analyze key performance indicators related to business development activities, providing regular updates and reports to senior management.

+ Monitor expenditures and financial performance against budgetary goals, identifying areas for optimization and cost-saving opportunities.

+ Implement cost-effective strategies to maximize return on investment in business development activities, while maintaining high standards of quality.

+ Collaborate closely with Divisional Leadership, MarComms, Account Management, and Client Experience teams, to ensure cohesive and integrated business development efforts.

+ Collaborate with HR, the Organizational and Talent Development (OTD) department, and senior management to identify skill gaps and training needs, tailoring programs to address specific areas of improvement.

+ Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance visibility.

+ Lead by example, demonstrating accountability, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of business development.

+ Encourage a growth mindset and continuous learning among team members.

+ Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all business development activities.

What You'll Need:

+ Proven experience in business development or sales roles; experience within the AEC industry preferred.

+ Demonstrated track record of effectively managing business development teams preferred.

+ Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.

+ Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective business plans.

+ Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and identify opportunities for growth.

+ Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and closing deals.

+ Ability to travel as needed.
