Summary:
The IT Platform Admin will act as a liaison between the business and technical resources by ensuring the availability of applications for users. This individual will demonstrate a high-level of responsibility and consistency by contributing to the timely response and closure of incidents received via the corporate incident tracking system. This role will work to identify functionality to empower users. In addition to operating out of an incident queue and application support mailbox during business hours, the IT Platform Admin will perform periodic user audits and may be responsible for completing IT tasks related to performing releases to install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain applications currency. This key individual frequently interacts with multiple departments to advocate for customers' incidents and providing timely responses.
Essential Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
All Levels:
Installs, configures, and maintains third-party software tools for IT applications.
Monitors existing systems to provide pro-active support to users.
Comprehends and translates users needs to facilitate resolution of application issues.
Recreates, troubleshoots, and resolves questions/problems in a professional and timely manner in accordance with the companys service level agreements.
Research complex reporting scenarios, systems incidents, and process flow events as needed.
Provides feedback regarding release documentation to Release Management and development teams.
ssists in maintaining detailed documentation of current revision of applications, procedures and information flow to support enterprise environments.
Implements backup procedures for each IT application that ensure recoverability within negotiated customers specifications.
Participates in on call efforts.
ccurately prepares all documentation to comply with change management controls.
Provides user documentation as needed to resolve issues, including process-flow descriptions and/or Visio diagrams.

Level II (in addition to Level I essential responsibilities/accountabilities): nticipates and identifies application risks and issues.
Recommends remediation options to prevent issue reoccurrence.

Monitors execution of controls to ensure compliance (i.e. Segregation of Duties). Defines and implements the process to maintain application security.
Develop and validate recovery procedures for each content management application.
Level III (in addition to Level II essential responsibilities/accountabilities): Meets with the business units to determine the business requirements for maintaining and improving the utilization and functionality of supported application software.
Documents technical specifications for solution designs to address application issues or identified enhancements.
Develops defined standards, policies, procedures.
Serves as technical lead and consulting support to appropriate support groups and internal/external customers.
Drives and manages resolution of application incidents and production issues.
Reviews new application software releases and determines impact to current systems Proactively generates relevant ideas for new and improved use of technology based on knowledge of the corporate business, product and systems, and customers business needs.
Mentors less experience incumbents in the functionality of the job.
Level IV (in addition to Level III essential responsibilities/accountabilities): cts as trusted advisor to the management team.
Emphasizes technology cost optimization when designing new solutions.
Serves as mentor for peers.
Leads business critical projects efforts for IT infrastructure.
Leads internal strategic efforts and collaborates with peers.
Minimum Qualifications:
All Levels:
Level I: ssociates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Analytics or relevant field. In lieu of degree three (3) years of related work experience required. Bachelors degree preferred.
Basic knowledge of structured systems analysis and design with special emphasis in systems administration, project management, user relations, data integrity and data gathering techniques.
Basic knowledge of relevant operating system.
Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages.
Basic knowledge of relational database management systems.
Clear and concise communication in both written and verbal form.
Must be able to work independently.

Level II (in addition to Level I minimum qualifications): Two (2) years of related experience.
Requires thorough knowledge of relevant operating system.
Intermediate knowledge of application(s)/application integration tool(s) administration or relevant technology counterparts. Examples include: Content Stores (FileNet Content Manager, Content Manager On Demand, Alfresco, Data Lakes)
Content Integration (Content Navigator, WebSphere Application Server, Microsoft IIS, Web Services)
Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) tools (Informatica)
Cloud Infrastructure Services (Azure, AWS, Google)
Intermediate knowledge of relational database management systems.
Intermediate experience of Disaster Recovery.
Intermediate knowledge of security, compliance, and audit policies/procedures.
Experience with IT computing resource management and optimization. bility to support Application Development initiatives through research, design, and implementation.
Level III (in addition to Level II minimum qualifications): Four (4) years of related experience.

Possesses extensive knowledge of technologies outside of core administration job function.

Demonstrated competence in team leadership/technical leadership, facilitation, and project leadership.
Professional certification in job-related technology preferred.
Physical Requirements: bility to complete work in a traditional office environment under fluorescent lighting.
