As a Senior Business Analyst _ IT , you will work on the most important challenges facing the heart of our company’s operations. In this pivotal role, you will enhance your expertise in business process management, systems analysis, and data interpretation. Your adeptness in relationship building, systems knowledge, and strategic communication will be instrumental to your success.

What You'll Do At Pega

Strategic Collaboration: Forge strategic partnerships with business stakeholders and technology teams to lead process improvement and project initiatives

Business Requirements : Facilitate and document requirements capture sessions to gain a thorough understanding of the current state business processes, the problems, and the opportunities for improvement

Business Process Mapping: Facilitate clear definition and communication of “as-is” and “future state” business processes by leveraging Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN)

Change Management: Lead and support change management to ensure the successful adoption of new processes and features

Communication and Documentation: Distill complex problems and ideas into clear and concise documentation that can be effectively articulated to business stakeholders, peers, and leadership

Expertise Development: Establish yourself as the go-to functional expert for critical business systems

What You've Accomplished

At least 4 years of experience in IT Business Systems Analysis or Business Operations, demonstrating a strong capability in enhancing software application functionalities and business processes using agile software methodologies.

Problem-Solving Excellence: Highly developed analytical skills, with a consistent record of identifying system inefficiencies and crafting innovative solutions.

Collaboration and Facilitation: Proven success in collaborating with a broad spectrum of stakeholder to achieve company goals; have the experience and situational awareness to know when to push and when to try another approach.

Agile Software Development: Visceral and pragmatic understanding of agile software development techniques and a thorough understanding of business operations, particularly within the realms of system analysis and design.

Curious and Proactive: A curiosity and eagerness to delve into new systems and technologies, asking the right questions to rapidly assimilate knowledge.

Communication and Presentation Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, complemented by strong organizational and analytical skills. Able to succinctly distill complex ideas into a meaningful presentation and present with confidence to audiences of peers, business partners, and leadership.

Microsoft 365: Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft 365 applications, to support data analysis, system modeling, and presentations.

Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in information systems, analytics, business administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
