About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President Corporate Controller to lead its accounting teams with a focus on strong technical accounting and SEC reporting skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial close management, including leading the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. This role requires the development and maintenance of internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX regulations, as well as managing the consolidation of financial results for multiple entities. The candidate must be adept at external reporting, including the preparation and review of financial statements for SEC filings, and be comfortable presenting financial information to executive leadership and the board of directors.To be successful in this position, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field, with a Master's degree being a plus. A minimum of 15 years' of experience in accounting and financial reporting, including at least 5 years' in a senior leadership role, is required. The role demands a strategic mindset, strong leadership abilities, and proficiency in US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements. The Vice President Corporate Controller will also be expected to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
